Content Production

Award-winning storyteller crafting engaging, user-centric multimedia content, from documentaries to interactive digital experiences, with a passion for accessibility and impact.

I am a versatile filmmaker with seven years of experience as a director, producer, cinematographer, editor, and screenwriter. I co-created and directed "Rate The Date," a reality TV show for Accelerate TV in 2020. Additionally, I have produced commissioned documentaries for various government initiatives, including one for the Lagos State Resilience Office, supported by the Rockefeller Foundation's 100RC program.

 

I have also written and directed a series of short films and created advertisements for both local and international companies. My films have received a total of ten selections at film festivals, with two nominations: Best Director at the Standalone Film Festival and Best Short Film at the Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival for my work on "Happy Hour" (2021).

 

My most recent feature, which I directed and produced, is the intimate coming-of-age documentary "Boys On The Brink" (2022) won Best Documentary Feature at both the virtual Political Film Festival and the International Gold Festival in the United States.

  • This documentary focuses on the tenacity of 6 boys growing up across 6 communities in Lagos, Nigeria. It won the Award for Best Feature Documentary at both the global Political Film Festival and at the International Gold Awards in 2024.

  • Developed and executed the documentary’s narrative, focusing on the tenacity of six boys across six Lagos communities, ensuring a compelling, culturally authentic story that resonated with global audiences.

  • Managed all production phases, including concept development, storyboarding, casting, and location scouting, raising over 5 million naira to fund the project and deliver high-impact content.

  • Edited raw footage using Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, crafting a cohesive, emotionally engaging documentary with precise pacing, sound design, and visual composition to meet award-winning standards.

  • Coordinated with cinematographers, sound designers, and local community stakeholders to align the documentary’s vision with cultural and social authenticity, ensuring inclusive representation.

  • Created web-based and social media assets (e.g., trailers, posters) using Figma, Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, optimizing for accessibility and global distribution to drive viewership and festival submissions.

  • Oversaw budgets, schedules, and freelancers, ensuring timely delivery of error-free content under tight deadlines, contributing to the film’s success at international festivals.

  • Engaged with Lagos communities to incorporate authentic voices and perspectives, enhancing the documentary’s social impact and relevance for diverse audiences.

  • Shot and monitored the editing of high-quality video content using Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, ensuring accessible, inclusive storytelling for diverse audiences.

  • Managed end-to-end production workflows, including storyboarding, casting, budgeting, and scheduling, delivering episodes under tight deadlines.

  • Partnered with digital and social media teams to create promotional assets, optimizing content for web and mobile platforms to drive viewership.

  • Developed user-centric social media video content for an AI-driven real estate platform, designing storyboards and interfaces in Figma to enhance viewer engagement.  

  • Collaborated with marketing and development teams to ensure content adhered to brand guidelines and was optimized for web and mobile platforms.  

  • Managed end-to-end content workflows, delivering assets and updates via Slack to meet tight campaign deadlines.

  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and development teams to ensure content reflects strategic goals and market trends 

  • Produce short-form social media videos (e.g., Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) to highlight properties and client stories, optimized for platform engagement.

  • Support content strategy with storyboards, scripts, and schedules for property launches and campaigns, using data to enhance engagement.

  • Developed a compelling narrative for the Pepsi ad, crafting a vibrant, youth-oriented story that aligned with the brand’s energetic identity, ensuring visual and emotional resonance for diverse global audiences.

  • Oversaw all production phases, including concept development, storyboarding, casting, and location scouting, managing budgets and timelines to deliver a polished commercial that met Pepsi’s marketing objectives.

  • Edited footage using Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, incorporating bold visuals, music, and branding elements to create an engaging, fast-paced ad optimized for TV and social media platforms (e.g., Instagram Reels, YouTube).
